| Zanzibar
Island is situated in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Tanzania,
and is a nice destination for beach holidays. The island offers white beaches, palm
trees and pleasant water temperatures all year round, and good opportunities for snorkelling,
diving and big game fishing. Many visitors also come to see Stonetown,
the old Arabian style parts of Zanzibar Town, and to visit other historic sites around
the island.
Zanzibar has good flight connections with the mainland, so it's easy to combine a safari
in Tanzania or Kenya
with a beach holiday on Zanzibar.
