Mombasa
Leopard Beach Resort is a very good beach resort in the Diani Beach area south of Mombasa on the Kenyan coast. The hotel consists of a number of buildings in garden surroundings along the beach and the Indian Ocean.

The hotel has 155 rooms in different categories. All rooms have private bathroom with WC, shower, bathtub and bidet. They also have air conditioning, satellite television, phone, hair dryer, mini bar and mosquito nets.

Restaurants and bars
A few different restaurants all have their own speciality, for example grilled, seafood, pasta and pizza. There is a bar and bistro by the swimming pool. Two other bars have marine themes, one of them on a coral rock overlooking the pool area and the ocean. Below is a nightclub with disco and live performances at night.

Leopard Beach Resort also offers massage, a gift shop, laundry, baby-sitting, a business centre, Internet, and conference facilities for up to 100 people.

Diving, golf and fishing
For bathing and swimming, the hotel has a swimming pool and a long beach. A water sports centre offers a variety of activities, including wind surfing, boat tours to the reef and deep-sea fishing.

A PADI dive centre offers courses and tours to a number of dive sites. Other activities include volleyball, water polo and aerobics. There is an 18-hole golf course next to the hotel area.

Elephants in Shimba Hills
Shimba Hills National Reserve is situated an hour's drive from the hotel, and has elephants, other mammals and beautiful surroundings. Kenya's only population of the rare sable antelope is also found in the reserve.
